CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today stated that in the upcoming budget session, a monthly financial assistance of ₹1000 will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of every woman in the state – without any paperwork, without any middleman, with just one click!
Speaking from his heart, Chief Minister Mann made this sensational announcement, assuring that his government is fulfilling every promise made to the public, one by one. He said, "The promise of ₹1000 made to our mothers and sisters will also be fulfilled after it is passed in the upcoming budget. Now it is time to give ₹1000 to women every month." He clarified that this amount will be credited monthly and through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the account of every eligible woman.
This ₹1000 is not just a scheme; it is a new definition of respect and self-reliance for the mothers and sisters of Punjab. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that this scheme will not only economically empower women but also increase the prosperity of families by providing relief in household expenses. Bhagwant Mann stated, "If a child in a family gets a job, the atmosphere of the entire house changes, and if a woman receives financial assistance, the whole family becomes stronger." This step will give women freedom in decision-making.
In this public meeting, organized in support of Aam Aadmi Party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu in Tarn Taran, the Chief Minister appealed to the people to vote for the 'Broom' (party symbol) on November 11. He said, "The opposition is playing politics with money, but the wise people of Tarn Taran will choose honesty and development." Chief Minister Mann has proven that his government is fully committed to fulfilling all the promises made to the public within five years. The Aam Aadmi Party is fully hopeful of registering a massive victory in this by-election due to its 'pro-people' policies.
