Ropar Police registers case against Bollywood stars Raveena Tnadon, Farah Khan and Bharti Singh

RUPNAGAR: The Rupnagar Police has registered a case of hurting religious sentiments against Bollywood Actress Raveena Tandon, Film producer Farah Khan and comedian Bharti Singh for hurting the religious sentiments of Christian community during a TV show.

The case was registered in Ropar city police station on the complaint of Charan Masih Chairman of All India Christian welfare Front.

SSP Ropar Swapan Sharma said that they have started investigation after registering the case. He added that case was registered under sections 295A of IPC. SSP said that similar cases were registered in other districts of Punjab and he was coordinating with police chiefs of pother districts to take further decision, He said that police would verify the details of complaint and watch the video of TV show before proceeding against the film actors.
