MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University (RBU) is thrilled to announce collaboration with New Mexico State University (NMSU), marking a significant milestone in the partnership between these institutions. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today at the premises of Rayat Bahra University.
The presence of representatives from NMSU, including Seth Miner, Vice-Chancellor of Strategic Enrolment Management; Enrico Pontelli, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Ronaldo A Flores Galarza, Dean & CAO of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, underscores the importance of this partnership.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, Registrar Dr Dinesh Sharma, and Head of International affairs Gurmukh Rana, among other dignitaries from RBU were present at the MoU signing ceremony. Discussions between the top functionaries of the two universities centered on potential areas of collaboration and culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize future cooperation between the two institutions.
This collaboration holds immense significance for both RBU and NMSU, signifying a pivotal step towards fostering international partnerships and enhancing academic excellence. The NMSU's hybrid programs, combining online and on-campus learning, offer students an affordable and accessible avenue for pursuing quality education.
Under this collaboration, postgraduate and undergraduate students from B.SC, M.SC (Agriculture), B.Tech & M.Tech (CSE) and BCA, MCA of Rayat Bahra University will exclusively benefit from 2 plus 2 programs for undergraduate courses and 1 plus 1 programs for postgraduate courses. These programs will enable students to study at Rayat Bahra University and avail benefits such as credit transfer to renowned universities in the USA.
