CHANDIGARH: Taking suo moto notice of case of Punjabi singer Lehmbar Hussainpuri who allegedly maltreated with his wife and daughter, the Punjab State Women Commission has asked the singer to appear before the commission on June 4, 2021.
Disclosing this here today the Chairperson of Women's Commission Mrs. Manisha Gulati said that the matter came to her notice through media inputs.
In her order, she directed the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to compliance the order and ensure that the concerned inquiry officer and both parties would appear before the Commission on June 4, 2021 at 12 noon.
