CHANDIGARH: Under the leadership of Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) is poised to orchestrate tractor rallies throughout the expanse of Punjab, encompassing various district headquarters, as a conspicuous demonstration of solidarity with the persisting farmers' agitation at the peripheries of Haryana.

Subsequent to a convened conclave of the Political Affairs Committee of the Punjab Congress, the esteemed leadership of the PPCC has resolved to evince unwavering support for the enduring farmers' agitation by spearheading 'Kisaani Bachaao March' tractor rallies across all districts of Punjab on the 28th of February. In conjunction with the tractor rallies, the provincial arm of the Congress will institute medical and langar facilities at both the Shambu and Khanori borders, in a bid to furnish vital assistance to the protesting farmers.

The marches and demonstrations orchestrated by the Punjab Congress shall be conducted in a serene and orderly manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the daily lives of Punjab's populace. These demonstrations are intended to underscore solidarity with Punjab's farming community and advocate for their inherent rights. Moreover, the Punjab Congress adamantly persists in its call for the initiation of FIRs against Haryana's Home Minister Anil Vij, having formally lodged a complaint in this regard.

In an official statement issued on the matter, Raja Warring remarked, "It is incumbent upon us, as citizens of Punjab, to extend our unwavering support to the farming fraternity during these arduous junctures. Recognizing the entreaties of farmer unions to maintain indirect involvement in the protest, we are resolute in our commitment to manifest solidarity through statewide tractor rallies where I will be joining the tractor march at Jandiala. Additionally, we shall institute langar and medical facilities at the Haryana borders to extend support to our state's agrarian populace."

The Punjab Congress remains resolute in its resolve to stand alongside the farmers of the state, even as other political entities continue to contravene the welfare of Punjab's agrarian community and the collective interests of the province. The Punjab Congress shall persist in its peaceful demonstrations, employing diverse strategies and modalities to champion the rights of the farmers across the state.
