It is to be noted that before this, even during the G-20 conference, wall paintings were made on the walls of the city based on the theme of the conference, which was appreciated by the city residents as well as the guests from different countries.
Mr. Harpreet Singh, Commissioner Corporation, while giving information about the Chitarkala being conducted for Rangle Punjab, said that the corporation officials are constantly active to make the fair fair organized by the Punjab government.
He said that wall painting is also a traditional art of Punjabi heritage, in old Punjab, whenever there was a wedding or any other happy ceremony in the house, the walls of the houses were decorated with various paintings and this is the tradition.
The Additional Commissioner of the Corporation, Mr. Surinder Singh, under whose leadership this wall painting team is working, said that we are Punjabi in this art along with Punjabi heritage, Punjabi designs, Punjabi dialects, flowers. of culture Other organs are affected.
He said that for this we have taken the services of professional artists, who are working day and night. Mr. Surinder Singh said that mainly the walls of government buildings along the road have been chosen for this painting and it is being painted in Punjabi colors.
