New Dehli resident booked for duping Shahkot resident of Rs 26685

SHAHKOT: The Shahkot police have booked a New Dehli resident on the charge of duping a Shahkot resident of Rs 26685.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Surindar Kumar said that the accused has been identified as Saba Bahadar a resident of Kisana complex Taj Pur Road New Delhi.

Raj Kumar a resident of Model Town Shahkot complained to Jalandhar (Rural) senior superintendent of police that the accused obtained One Time Password of his MobiKwik App for making online payments and cheated him of Rs 26685

SHO said that a case under section 420(cheating) of the IPC and sections 66-C and 66-D of the Information Technology Act has been registered against the accused after an inquiry by cyber cell and further investigations have been handed over to Inspector Lakhvir Singh Station House Officer Mehat Pur.
