AMRITSAR: Youths protested at Ludhiana railway station against the central government's 'Agneepath Bharti Yojana'. The youths chanted slogans and smashed the windows of all the offices located on the platforms and caused a lot of damage at the railway station.
After which the police deployed high alert all over Punjab and a large number of police force was also deployed at the railway station in Amritsar. Recently there was a lot of protest in Bihar too and trains were also set on fire and even today the railway station in Ludhiana was vandalized by the youth which led to the increase of police force at the railway station in Amritsar so that In order to prevent any untoward incident, the Railway Police Officer further said that even today three trains from Amritsar Railway Station have been canceled.
