AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed grave over the death of famous Sikh writer Dr. Saroop Singh Alag.
Advocate Dhami said in the condolence message that Dr. Saroop Singh was an active scholar writer for the separate Sikh community, who wrote more than 100 books on Sikh history and Gurmat doctrines.
He said that this loss to the panth will never be fulfilled. He Paying tribute to Saroop Singh Azar, he expressed his condolences to his family.
Meanwhile, Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib also expressing grief over the demise of Saroop Singh Azar, he remembered his services.
Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh said that among the Sikh scholars who contributed to the advancement and propagation of Sikhism, The name of Saroop Singh Azar was in the forefront and the Sikh Sangat will continue to draw inspiration from his writings.
He prayed that Karta Purakh would unite the departed soul with his feet and give the strength to the family to accept it.
