NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have booked a Jalandhar resident on the charge of rape and criminal intimidation.
The investigating officer (IO) Ravindar Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Ashwani Kumar a resident of Mohalla Dabi Pura , Basti Guzan, Jalandhar .
The victim complained to the police that the accused barged into her house and forcibly raped and threatened her with dire consequences.
IO said that a case under section 376(rape) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab him.
