ITC Company extends help for flood-affected victims, hands over a cheque of ₹25 lakh to the Deputy

PHAGWARA: In the aftermath of the devastating floods that recently hit Punjab, ITC Company has come forward to contribute to the state government’s rehabilitation efforts. 

Representatives of ITC’s Kapurthala plant today handed over a cheque of ₹25 lakh to Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

 ITC’s General Manager Armesh Singh, Senior Manager Abhishek Saini, Manager Ashish Sharma, and Suraj Upadhyay handed over the cheque to Deputy commissioner at DAC. 

Deputy Commissioner Mr. Panchal expressed gratitude to ITC for the financial assistance extended to flood-affected families, stating that the amount contributed to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund will directly benefit those affected by the floods. 

He further added that the Punjab Government is distributing compensation to flood victims on a war footing, and the contribution from ITC will play a significant role in supporting these relief efforts.
