CHANDIGARH: Celebrated Punjab singer Sardul Siakndar passed away today. He was suffering from Corona and was admitted in a private hospital for the last one month.
He was admitted in Fortis hospital Mohali where he underwent Kidney transplant. He got infected with corona after kidney transplant.
Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has expressed shock over the death of noted Punjabi singer Sardul Sikandar. He said that Siakandar was a versatile artist who excelled in his field despite being from a very poor background. CM remembered his services for the Punjabi language.
Sardul Siandar is survived by his wife Amar Noori also a famous singer and two sons.
