CHANDIGARH: Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has appealed to the people for the Tarn Taran by-election to support the Bharatiya Janata Party, a party with firm willpower, to strengthen the state's communal harmony and eliminate corruption and gangster rule. Sunil Jakhar said it is ridiculous that those who themselves served jail terms in Delhi for scams are talking about making Punjab corruption-free. Commenting on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sunil Jakhar said that he has mortgaged the Chief Minister's chair itself to the Delhiwalas. This is an insult to the people of Punjab who gave him this chair.
Sunil Jakhar said that the statement given by Congress President Raja Warring against the SC community is proof that the leaders of this party have knelt before AAP. Such an irresponsible statement was made only to give hidden benefits to the Aam Aadmi Party and to prevent their own cases from being exposed. Congress has completely failed as the opposition because it has a secret alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party.
