CHANDIGARH: The Punjab School Education Department has issued a schedule for imparting online training to the selected school counselors of high and senior secondary schools to guide the students from 9th to XII classes about the new vocational courses.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that this training would be imparted to the elected councilors of the schools under the guidance and counseling program. Director SCERT has issued a letter in this regard. The training will be conducted online from 10 am to 1 pm and different dates has been fixed for this training for each district. According to the spokesperson, the training would be imparted to 150 elected councilors of each district from January 11 to February 15 and it will be one day long.
According to the spokesperson, the head office will send link for this online training to district nodal officers. They have been instructed to send this link to school counselors to ensure their participation.
