District to have special social security pension suvidha camps from August 17 to September 19

NAWANSHAHR:To facilitate the applicants of monthly social assistance schemes under the Social Security, women and child development department, district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar has planned Pension Suvidha camps from August 17 to September 28.
Divulging details, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa Said that district social security officer Ms Rajkiran has been assigned as the responsibility of nodal officer to facilitate the applicants visiting camps. He said that field officers of department of revenue and rehabilitation, Executive Officers of Municipal Councils, District Development and Panchayat Officer and Child Development and Project Officers have been entrusted with the task to make necessary arrangements for the camps so that the applicants would be facilitated in a well planned manner.
Ms Rajkiran Kaur, District Social Security Officer, added that as per the schedule approved by the deputy commissioner, seven mega camps have been planned in rural and urban areas in the first phase. As per the schedule prepared for these camps, the first camp would be organised in Government Primary School Taunsa on August 17 for the surrounding 21 villages. Second camp to be conducted at Government High School Main Road Pojewal on August 24 which will cater to 7 nearby villages. Besides, a third camp would come up at Dharamgir Mandir Aur on August 31 for 15 villages. Fourth camp on September 7 would be convened at BDPO Office Banga for urban ward no. 1 to 15 and villages Punia and Hameerowal. Government Secondary School Jadla would be the fifth place on September 14 for the 15 nearby villages. Sixth camp would be organised at Community Hall Kathgarh on September 21 for nearby 21 villages. Seventh and last camp would be conducted on September 28 at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Majari in Saroya Block on Balachaur, she added.
She appealed to the residents who are eligible for Old-age, Widow, Handicapped and dependent minors' monetary benefits on a monthly basis to attend these camps at their doorsteps.
