Do not send your children abroad illegally- Dhaliwal
AMRITSAR: Cabinet Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has taken immediate action on a video that came from Colombia yesterday, in which some Punjabi boys were being kidnapped by smugglers there and demanded ransom, and rescued seven Punjabi boys.

Giving the above information, Dhaliwal said that after receiving this video, he immediately contacted the Colombian embassy through the Foreign Office, who took action within a few hours and established contact with the said boys, the result of which was that two of these Punjabi boys have returned to Delhi from Colombia, while the remaining five boys are in contact with the Colombian embassy and they will also reach India in the coming one or two days.

Dhaliwal appealed to parents not to send their children abroad through wrong means.

He said that these routes are very expensive and dangerous. He also appealed to the youth to arrange a good livelihood by starting a business here instead of blackmailing their parents abroad, through which they will be able to earn good money and also provide employment to many.
