Covid-19: Punjab school education minister directs all schools to ensure proper hygiene during examinations

SANGRUR: Punjab school education minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla, on Saturday, directed all the schools, government, semi government and private schools, across the state to ensure proper hygiene during examinations. He added that the authorities also ensure to call students only for examinations on the campuses till March 31 to prevent Covid19 outbreak. Mr. Singla said that strict action will be taken against the defying school authorities.

Vijay Inder Singla said that all the school authorities should ensure adequate arrangements including soap or alcohol based handwash for hand wash of students who will be coming to appear for the examinations. He added that the cleanliness of toilets and washrooms should also be done on regular basis and it would be randomly checked by education department officials.

The cabinet minister said that the Punjab Government is very serious regarding the hazard of Covid19 and adequate precautions are being taken to control the spread of the disease in the state. He added that students are the important part of the society and every possible step will be taken to ensure their good health by the state government.
