Chief Minister Punjab inaugurated the electricity substations built at a cost of 4.40 crore rupees

AMRITSAR:Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann inaugurated 4 new electricity substations to solve the electricity problems of the people at Baba Bakala on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
These four power houses are connected to 66 KV Liddhar, 66 KV Beas, 66 KV Butala and 66 KV Sathyala substations.
The Chief Minister said that the cost of this work is Rs 4.40 crore and it will relieve 2 lakh common consumers from overloading/unauthorized power cuts and will benefit 70 villages.
He said that the tubewells were getting 6 hours of electricity supply during the previous period, which is getting 8 hours continuously this year. Mann said that the total length of 66 KV Butari-Beas line is 11.95 km. He said that during the last years there was a delay in the implementation of this work due to some political reasons and some consumers obstructing the construction of the tower. But now the work has been completed due to tireless efforts of Punjab State Power Corporation.
On this occasion Cabinet Ministers: Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Cabinet Ministers: Harbhajan Singh ETO, Light MLA Dalbir Singh Tong, Light MLA Central Dr. Apart from Ajay Gupta, other prominent personalities were also present.
