A Jatha of Sikhs from Sikligar and Vanajare from Bhopal reached Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib to pay obeisance

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has started various initiatives for the Sikhs of Sikligar and Vanjare, under which, while the fees of their children have been arranged, at the same time Sikhs of Sikligar and Vanjare are made aware of the Sikh religion and history from time to time. Arrangements are also made for the darshan of various Gurudwaras in the form of jathas.

Accordingly, a group from Bhopal today. Under the leadership of Dalip Singh, Sachkhand has reached Sri Harimandar Sahib for the darshan of Sri Darbar Sahib, whom SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami called G-I. After visiting different Gurudwaras including Gurdwara Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, this Jatha Takht has reached Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.

On this occasion, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that Sikligars and Vanjaras are an important part of the Sikh community, for whose welfare the Shiromani Committee is constantly striving. He said that the Shiromani Committee arranges the school fees of Sikhligar and Vanjare Sikh children to make them self-reliant and in the past it was also decided to make these Sikh families visit Gurdwara Sahibs. He said that accordingly, a group of 315 pilgrims have arrived for darshan of different Gurudwaras of Punjab. He said that the Shiromani Committee is committed to provide all possible support for the education of the Sikh children of Sikligarh and continuous work will be done in this direction.

The leader of the party Dalip Singh thanked Shiromani Committee president Harjinder Singh Dhami for the honor given by the Shiromani Committee and the arrangements made for the trip to various Gurdwara Sahibs and appreciated this effort. There was great enthusiasm among the Sangat who came in the Jatha for the darshan of the Gurdwara Sahibs. On this occasion, the member of the Dharma Prachar Committee.
