PATIALA: In a series of events being organized by the Punjab School Education Department dedicated to the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, essay competitions were conducted at Government High School Ranbir Pura.
A large number of students participated in the online essay competitions based on the personality, words, philosophy, sacrifice and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Rajmeet Kaur (10th class) stood first, Razi (10th class) second, Harman Kaur (9th class) third and Jashanpreet Kaur (9th class) fourth in the essay competitions conducted under the supervision of school teacher Rani Kalra.
Headmaster Lalit Singla said that to make Guru Sahib's great sacrifice, Bani and personality, a source of inspiration for all and to show their devotion to Guru Sahib, it was a great initiative for the students. He said that in the upcoming competitions also the students of this school would participate on large scale and the teachers would fulfill their responsibilities as well.
