266 pilgrims get visas to visit Pakistan on the occasion of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's death anniversary - SGPC

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has received visas for 266 pilgrims to be sent to Pakistan on the occasion of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's death anniversary. The Jatha is scheduled to leave for Pakistan on June 21.


According to media reports, 277 pilgrims were sent to Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore to attend the function on the occasion of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's death anniversary and to visit other shrines located there. 266 have received visas.
He said that the names of 11 pilgrims have been cut off by the Pakistan Embassy in Delhi. According to Kulwinder Singh Ramdas, the Jatha will leave the SGPC office on June 21 and return home on June 30.
