JALANDHAR(000):Under Ghar-Ghar Rozgar The scheme run by Punjab Government, District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) on Thursday organized a job fair in its office, at the third floor of the district administrative complex.
As many as 250 candidates appeared for 150 posts ranging from a senior officer, unit manager, requirement manager, field officer, content writer, sales manager, tellecallers in companies like ICICI Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Knowledge Academy, Phillips marketing, Satin Care and Rank Step Education.
Deputy Director Employment Mrs Sunita Kalyan said that the youths must avail maximum benefits of the job fairs, which would be instrumental in opening new avenues of employment for them.
She also appealed the youths either to register themselves on the government's job portal ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in or they can also visit the office of, situated on third floor of the administrative complex.
She said besides the employment, the services of career guidance, counseling, skill, entrepreneurship development, and free internet also being offered to the visitors by DBEE.
