8th Standard examination begins from today,233013 students will appear in exams

CHANDIGARH : The examination for 8th class has re-begun for which all arrangements have been done. The 8th class examination has started from 27th February in which 2, 33, 013 students will appear and 2437 examination centres have been established. This has been disclosed by the Director of SCERT, Sukhdev Singh Kahlon.

Kahlon said that as per directions of Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema the Department has re-started the examination of 5thand 8th class to raise the standard of education showing a serious concern and paying attention to voice of people. Though, Giving the detailed information, the Director Mr. Kahlon said that 8th class papers will occur from 8th March to 16th March at 2:30 to 5pm. After the examination the papers will be checked impartially through table marking process and checking will be done by primary teachers only.
