FEROZEPUR: As part of the strike by the Punjab State Ministerial Services Union to meet the demands of the employees, the government work of all the offices of Ferozepur district has been completely stopped for the fifth day today.

Hundreds of clerical employees of different departments today under the leadership of district president of the organization Manohar and district general secretary Pippal Singh Sidhu staged a strike against DAC. A protest march was held in the complex by banging barrels.

Office Employees Union, Varun Kumar President Education Department, Sukhchain Singh Agriculture Department, Gurpreet Singh Aulakh, Om Prakash Rana, Anu Arora, Siwal Khanna, Sheetal Asija Public Works Department, Madam Virpal Kaur, Harpreet Duggal and Manish Kumar Treasury Office, Navdeep Purba Bhasha Addressing the protest rally, the department strongly condemned the state government's failure to pay attention to the demands of the employees and to implement the accepted demands.
The employee leaders said that they demanded from the Punjab government that the old pension scheme should be restored soon, D.A. The outstanding installments should be released early, full salary should be paid during the trial period, Kedri scale should not be imposed on the employees of the state.
The employee leaders warned that if the employee demands are not fulfilled soon, this struggle will continue in the same way. It is also worth mentioning here that today DC. On this occasion, the leaders of the employees said that if the Punjab government does not resolve the employee demands, then the Kalam Chhod strike will continue and this struggle will be intensified, for which the entire responsibility will be on the Punjab government.
