KAITHAL: The work in Kaithal's courts today remained closed in protest against the police registering false FIR against two lawyers in Ambala. Today the lawyers did not do any work, which caused a lot of trouble to the clients coming for courts related works from far away. The court campus remained deserted. A Proxy Council was fixed for every court on behalf of the association, which was taking further date in today's cases.
District Bar Association head Sandeep Sharma said that in this case he is with the lawyers of Ambala. Whatever demand comes from Ambala, we will stand shoulder to shoulder with them. He said that the police lodges a false FIR against anyone without any investigation or fact. These types of incidents have happened many times before. He said that it is condemnable to file a false case against Ambala's lawyers Tejindra Mohan Libran and Sanjeev Mohan Libran. Lawyers always cooperate with the police, keep coordination but the police never cooperate with the lawyers. The police is misusing its power. He said that on August 27, no lawyer appeared in any court. The Bar association had decided to impose a fine of Rs 11000 if any counsel appeared in court violating association decision.
