AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed grief over the demise of Mata Sukhwinder Kaur, one of the injured family members in the drone attack in village Khai Feme Ki of Ferozepur district, and has announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the victim family.
Advocate Dhami said that in the drone attacks that took place yesterday, Lakhwinder Singh's family has suffered a huge loss, three of whose members have been injured in the attack. Out of these, Bibi Sukhwinder Kaur has passed away while the condition of one member is critical.
He said that the loss of Mata Ji cannot be compensated, but the SGPC has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to the bereaved family.
He prayed to God to grant the departed soul a place of rest in His feet and give the family the strength to bear the loss.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, as per the orders of Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, a delegation of the Shiromani Committee had reached the house of the bereaved family.
This delegation of the Shiromani Committee included members Darshan Singh Sher Khan, Satpal Singh Talwandi, Pritam Singh Malsian and Bibi Gurinder Kaur Bholuwala.
The delegation shared the grief with the family of Mata Sukhwinder Kaur who passed away and prayed for the departed soul.
