AMRITSAR: The Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Maan has created a new history in the country by providing jobs to the unemployed within the first two years. Under which jobs have been given to the unemployed by distributing 40 thousand appointment letters so far.
These words were expressed by Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO. while giving appointment letter to 18 fire brigade personnel of Municipal Council in Jandiala Guru Constituency.
He said that the main objective of our government is to provide jobs to the unemployed so that they can develop the state only by staying in the state.
He said that it has happened for the first time in the history of Punjab that jobs have been given only on the basis of merit, excluding nepotism.
ETO said that our government is the government of common people and we are doing the work of common people.
He said that the Mann government has caught many corrupt people while working under the policy of zero tolerance in the state.
After this, ETO inaugurated the working of streets and drains in village Ramanachak. He said that 5 lakh rupees will be spent on this work. He announced that development work will be started at Ramanachak village at a cost of about 22 lakh rupees.
He said that the 5 km long road from Ramanachak to Dehriwal will be widened from 11 feet to 17 feet. On this occasion, he also announced two lakh rupees for the village crematorium and 11.25 lakh rupees for water supply works.
He said that even before this development works are going on at Ramanachak village.
Cabinet Minister said that no compromise will be tolerated in development works.
He told the people of the village that if any kind of deficiency is noticed in the development works, it should be brought to their attention immediately.
He said that development works are done with people's money and any kind of negligence in people's money will not be tolerated.
On this occasion, Chairman Subedar Chanakh Singh, Chairman Dr. Apart from Gurvinder Singh, Madam Suhinder Kaur, Madam Sunaina Randhawa, Block President Bhupinder Singh Ramanachak, a large number of local residents were present.
