AMRITSAR: The Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj, will be on a two-day visit to Shillong city in the state of Meghalaya on December 14 and 15.
During the visit, Jathedar Gargajj will participate on December 14 in a Gurmat Samagam (religious congregation) being organized by the Management Committee of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Shillong, dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. On December 15, he will meet the local Sikh residents living in Punjabi Lane, Shillong, and gather information about their issues and concerns.
Upon his arrival at Guwahati Airport today, Jathedar Gargajj was accorded a warm welcome by members of the Sikh sangat from Assam and Meghalaya.
