Had only India pressed US president for ceasefire agreement with Pak with an eye on Bihar elections
CHANDIGARH: The soft reaction by India to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan has caused major embarrassment to India. The Pak has fired dozens of drones in Kashmir and Punjab after 5 PM which Indian government claimed dead line to start ceasefire.

Indian media had seems to have over reacted in giving credit of ceasefire to PM Narender Modi and posing that Pakistan had demanded to end the war. The Indian Government had boasted a big victory over Pakistan on striking the deal on its own terms. One of the terms, as claimed by media was that any act of terror in future would be an act of war. However Pakistan had committed the violation just three hours after the ceasefire came into force. The ceasefire deal was mediated by US president Donald Trump.

It is also reported that India's National Security Advisor has also talked to Chinese Foreign minister and assured him that India dont want war with Pakistan a strong votary of peace in the region. This was claimed by a Chinese spokesman. The  Chinese FM said that we cant change our neighbours andmust live in peace with them.

The developments have shown that Pakistan army had not accepted the deal between Indian and Pakistan political eastablishment. The Indian Foreign secretary who briefed media at 11 PM on Saturday said that Pakistan had repeatedly violated the ceasefire. He said that India has taken it strongly and stated the army has been asked to retaliate strongly to any ceasefire by Pakistan. He stopped short of recalling ceasefire agreement. It is also not clear yet whether India has raised the issue with United states.

Several veteran army officers had expressed displeasure over ceasefire agreement and said that India has missed a great opportunity to take back Pak occupied Kashmir. Indian forces must first launch offensive in Kashmor before making any ceasefire, said G.D.Bakshu a former Army Deneral in a TV debate.

The soft stand taken by India on the issue of ceasefire has surprised many in India and became a matter of debate. The question has arises was India insisting on USA to strike a deal with Pakistan with an eye of elections in Bihar so that the anti-Pakistan or to be precise anti-Muslim mood may help BJP in Bihar. The people in Bihar and in Hindu dominating belt are divided on communal lines after Wakf Act came to force. The Wakf bill has more significance in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh where Wakf has maximum properties.

A view of the violation by Pakistan is also said to be possibility of coup in Pakistan as Army may not agree to decision taken by Prime Minister Shehnaz Sharif. The things would become clear by tomorrow.
