PHAGWARA:Former Block BJP President and a veteran BJP Leader Chander Mohan Singh Chawla breathed his last in Phagwara this afternoon.He was around(76).

National Commission for SC/ST Vijay Sampla and Union Minister of State Som Parkash besides Phagwara Congress MLA Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal and AAP Leader Joginder Singh Maan condoled the death of Chawla. Later Hundreds of the residents including representatives of political parties, social and religious organisations attended his funeral at local Banga Road Crematorium this evening.
