CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today announced the names of 8 candidates of Lok Sabha election in Punjab. Five cabinet ministers are named in the first list alongwith famous Punjabi actor and singer Karamjit Singh Anmol.
There are 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab. AAP is yet to release names for remaining five seats. No other party has so far announced any candidate.
According to official release, sitting MP Sushil Kumar Rinku has been fielded from Jalandhar reserve seat and former MLA Gurpreet Singh JP who defected from Congress a few days back has been nominated from Fatehgarh Sahib reserve seat.
The five cabinet misters in the fray are Kuldep Singh Dhaliwal from Amritsar, Laljit Singh Bhullar from Khadoor Sahib, Gurmeet Singh Khudian Bathinda, Gurmeet Singh Meet ayer from Sangrur and Dr.Balbir Singh from Patiala.
