AMRITSAR: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, who arrived in Amritsar to campaign in favor of BJP candidate Taranjit Singh Sandhu, said that the people of Punjab must blame the Gandhi family and the Congress for this big mistake of attacking Sri Darbar Sahib. Lessons will be learned. So that no one dares to harm Punjabiity and faith in the future. This message must reach Congress. Nehru Gandhi family and Congress party will never think about the interests of Punjab, they have done injustice to Punjab many times during the partition of the country and also by attacking Sri Darbar Sahib.
Piyush Goyal, who also holds portfolios like Textiles and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, was addressing a press conference in favor of Taranjit Singh Sandhu in Amritsar today.
Piyush Goyal said that BJP candidate from Amritsar Taranjit Singh Sandhu is a capable person. He has served the country a lot and now he is dedicated to the service of Amritsar and Punjab. They have good access to the central leadership and the leadership trusts them. Which will benefit Amritsar a lot in future.

On the question of the Congress not apologizing till date for the attack on Sri Darbar Sahib, Goyal said that I believe that the Congress and the Gandhi family should apologize for the attack on Sri Darbar Sahib. A country that does not preserve its heritage cannot progress. Amritsar has also seen a time that people cannot forget. Now is the time to respond to those forces.
In response to a question, he said that India-US trade has increased by 45 percent. When he was asked about the central government not getting a megatextile park from Punjab, he said that the central government had asked for proposals from each state for the PM Mitra megatextile park, on which several proposals had come. But I have to say with sadness that if the state government does not help then the schemes of the central government will not reach the state, the Punjab government did not send a complete proposal about this project, due to which this park could not be built here and it went to Telangana. . He said that the state government, especially the Punjab government, is repeatedly losing such opportunities. He said that now you have to take the right decision to join the development.
When asked about agriculture, Piyush Goyal said that farmer leaders need to understand the seriousness of this subject. Farmers made not only Punjab but the country self-reliant in terms of food grains and gave us security in terms of food grains. You know that if anyone has the biggest advantage of shopping in MSP, it's Punjab. It is our responsibility to save it. We have taken all possible steps to ensure that Punjab does not face any pressure. The things that come as suggestions are considered keeping in mind the interests of Punjab, I have tried to explain this to the farmers in detail. Even today, through you, I appeal to the farmers that we can find a solution for this together.
He said that the Prime Minister is concerned about the farmers, so one should not do anything under pressure or misunderstanding, which will cause loss to Punjab and the farmers.
He said that on one side is the party which has repeatedly tortured Punjab. Other parties are involved in corruption. People have seen that parties are dividing people due to politics of nepotism and corruption. They are creating differences in the society. Injustice has been happening to Punjab for years. Bharatiya Janata Party is winning all over the country, in Punjab also the people of Punjab are ready to bless Modi ji in large numbers. And Taranjit will beat Sandhu.
Piyush Goyal said that I have come to Guru Nagar after a long time and today I came to Guru Ghar with bowed head. I pray to the Guru that the children of our country are educated and our country is strong in economic progress, he said that people who are connected to religion should have faith.
