CHANDIGARH: The Congress party today released list of six candidates of Lok Sabha in Punjab. Fire brand politician and strong critic of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been fielded from Sangrur, the native constituency of Mann. Khaira was formerly with AAP.
Former AAP MP Dharamvir Gandhi has been fielded from Patiala, the home constituency of former CM Capt Amarinder Singh now in BJP. Captain's wife Preneet Kaur is BJP candidate from Patiala.
Former CM Charanjit Singh Channi is Congress candidate from Jalandhar where AAP MP Sushil Rinku is now BJP candidate from Jalandhar. AAP is expected to field former SAD MLA Pawan Kumar Tinu from here who joined AAP today.
Gurjit Singh Aujla sitting MP has been given ticket from Amritsar seat where BJP has fielded former US Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
Amar Singh sitting MP of Fatehgarh Sahib has been repeated despite strong wave against him in the constituency. He was not seen in the constituency after winning in 2019.
