AMRITSAR: Congress Lok Sabha candidate Gurjeet Singh Aujla today visited the markets in the heart of the city and met shopkeepers. He did door-to-door campaigning and appealed to the people to vote for Congress. This road show was conducted under the chairmanship of former Deputy CM OP Soni in Centre Constituency.

Gurjeet Singh Aujla started the road show from outside Bharawan Da Dhaba and while meeting the people, appealed to them that this time it is very important to support Congress to change the situation. He said that the business class is troubled by the very poor condition of business in Punjab. Instead of uplifting the business class, BJP's schemes have left them in a worse condition than before. Traders are being looted in the name of Mudra Yojana. Banks are imposing arbitrary charges due to which the businessman is left burdened with the interest on the loan taken. He said that in the last ten years, every businessman is angry with BJP, whereas before this, during the Congress rule, business was flourishing and every class was happy.

During this, OP Soni said that BJP has not done anything for any section. Even in business, only a few families were given advantage, due to which now it is necessary to save the country and take a step towards making the country a golden bird again. This step is possible only with the hand of Congress. He appealed to everyone to vote for Congress and make it victorious. On this occasion, former MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma, former councilor Vikas Soni, Mahesh Khanna, Pankaj Chauhan, Sunil Sharma Konti and others were present.
