AMRITSAR: The largest webcasting control room across the state established by District Election Officer Mr. Ghansham Thori to monitor each booth of Amritsar Lok Sabha Constituency has proved to be a milestone for conducting the elections in a smooth environment. happened By installing cameras on each booth and watching its live broadcast, the volunteers reported any problem at any booth to the election staff and resolved it immediately. Due to which the work of voting went on smoothly.

On the occasion of the end of voting, District Election Officer Mr. Ghansham Thori himself reached the webcasting control room and felicitated the students of various colleges and universities engaged in this work.

It is to be noted that by installing cameras from each booth, its live broadcast was seen on the screens in the webcasting control room set up in the community hall of the Urban Improvement Trust. In this control room, the live broadcast came from 1684 booths of Amritsar Lok Sabha Constituency , which was watched by these volunteers with the eagle's eye on about 200 computers and big screens. Wherever any mistake , mischief , quarrel , procrastination , technical fault of the voting machine or violation of the instructions of the Election Commission was seen , these students brought it to the attention of the election staff and reported it to the Assistant Returning Officer of the concerned constituency. Keep informing the sector officer also. Due to which the work of voting went on smoothly.

The District Election Officer Mr. Ghansham Thori who was watching the live broadcast from all the booths with so many volunteers praised the volunteers and said that your work has been praised by the Chief Election Commission of Punjab and we are able to fulfill this great responsibility of democracy with your services. It has been very easy. For which I am grateful to you as District Election Officer. Mr. Thori thanked the people for voting peacefully in the district and said that no untoward incident took place in the entire district. IAS officer Mrs. Sonam , District Technical Coordinator Mr. Prince Singh and other officials were present on this occasion .
