AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee was honored by the World Peace Diplomacy Organization with a medal and a letter of appreciation for its outstanding services to the welfare of the people.
Representatives of the organization reached the Shiromani Committee office and presented the honor to Bibi Jagir Kaur, President of the organization. The founder and president of the organization, Dr. G.D. Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that the prestigious body of the Sikh community, the Shiromani Committee, has been a notable service for the Sikh cause as well as for the welfare of the people and has always been at the forefront of advocating for Sikh issues. He said that our organization was happy to honor the President of the SGPC Bibi Jagir Kaur for her outstanding services. Speaking on the occasion Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the SGPC has always been working for the betterment of the society and the rising art of Sikhism and its services were appreciated by various organizations. Under this, medals and letters of commendation have been given by the organization World Peace Diplomacy Organization USA. He said that we are grateful to them on behalf of the Sikh organization and are also committed to work for human welfare and the rising art of Sikhism.
