NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have booked four migrants including a woman on the charges of cheating and criminal crimination.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Jatindar Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Najmun Nisha wife of Nym Ansari a resident of Jharkhand state Naim Ansari also of same state , Rakib Lashkar and An.Mian residents of West Bengal State .
Deepak kumar a resident of Preet Nagar Nakodar complained to Jalandhar (rural) senior superintendent of police that the accused cheated him of Rs 45985 on the pretext by helping him in release of a courier held in Delhi.
SHO said that a case under sections 420(cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC and section 66(c) and 66(b) of the IT Act has been registered against the accused and further investigations are on.
