SHAHKOT:Additional district and sessions judge Jalandhar, Sarabjit Singh Dhaliwal has sentenced a villager to lifetime imprisonment for murder. The accused has been identified as Harjit Singh alias Sonu a resident of Sandhawal village. He was also slapped a fine of Rs 50, 000. The Shahkot Police had booked the accused on the charge of murdering Sandip Kumar of Sandhawal village on April 21, 2015.
Additional district and sessions judge Jalandhar, Lalit Kumar Singla has sentenced Kuldeep Singh alias Gita a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana to ten year imprisonment for intoxicant powder smuggling .The Mehat Pur police had booked the accused in 2020.
