Unidentified vehicle driver booked for death by negligence

NAKODAR:The Nakodar city police have booked an unidentified vehicle driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Arshdip Singh a resident of Khiva village complained to the police that he was coming to Nakodar on July 30 on his motor cycle and his grandfather Anup Singh was pillion riding and when they reached Nakodar -Jalandhar road bypass near Malarri village a speedy car coming from Malsian two wheeler killing his grandfather on the spot and fled away ,

The investigating officer Mohann Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279(rash driving on a public road) and 337and (causing grievous hurt to any person by doing any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life, or the personal safety of others) of427 (mischief) the IPC has been registered against unidentified vehicle driver.
The Lohian Khas police also booked an unidentified vehicle driver for killing contractor Bhupindar Singh of Lohian in a road accident said IO Jaspal Singh.
