NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of
raping a minor girl.
The investigating officer (IO) Inspector Bhupindar Kaur said that
the accused has been identified as Harwindar alias Gora a resident
of Uggi village.
Mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused induced
her minor daughter and established illicit physical relations with her
on the pretext of marriage and repeatedly raped her.
IO said that a case under sections 376(rape), 506( criminal
intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the
Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act -2012 has been
registered against the accused.
