NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have arrested two women on the charge of stealing cash from a woman’s purse. The investigating officer(IO) Mohindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Priya wife of Surindar a resident of Model House Jalandhar and Priti daughter of Vijay Kumar a resident of Ghah Mandi Jalandhar.
Miss Neeru daughter of Ramesh Kumar a resident of Saraj Ganj Jalandhar complained to the police that the accused stole Rs 23000 and important documents from her purse at Dera Murad Shah on September 22 where she
has came to pay her obeisance.
IO said that a case under sections 379(theft) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused adding that stolen money has been recovered from them.
