Separate cases have been registered under Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act.

In the first incident, a police party was conducting patrolling duty near Gurdwara Sant Sar T-Point near Subhanpur. During the patrol, the team noticed a young man approaching from the front. The team observed a young man standing near a wooden stall. On noticing the police, he reportedly panicked and attempted to move swiftly towards the Moto Bath Tyre side.
