NURMAHAL : The Criminal Investigating Agency of the Jalandhar (rural) police has arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
The investigating officer (IO)Satpal said that 50 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Ranjit Singh alias Ranna son of Gurdas Singh a resident of Sangowal village and Balwinder Singh alias Bindu son of Manjit Singh a resident of Burj Hassan village.
IO said that a case under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Bilga police station and impounded a motorcycle (PB-08-EV 3981) on which they were traveling.
