SHAHKOT:The Shahkot police have booked three persons on the charge of stealing
maize seeds bags from a store.
The investigating officer (IO)said that the accused have been
identified asPuran Singh alias Puri a resident of Parjian Bihari Pur
village, Aman Kumar alias Tita a resident of Sidham Bet in Ludhiana
and Jasvir Singh alias Kaka a resident of Ajate Wal village in
Ludhiana. Paramjit Singh a resident of Bhadma village
complained to the police that the accused stole 75 bags on maize seeds
kept in Budhann Wal cold storage.
IO said a case under sections 380(theft in dwelling house) and
457(lurking house trespass) of the IPC has been registered against the
accused.
