Three booked for assaulting villager

NURMAHAL : The Bilga t police have booked three persons on the charge of assaulting a villager.The Investigating officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused have been identified as Dil Bahar alias Joti a Patti Bhoja , Bilga village resident, and his two unidentified accomplices .

Parmindar Singh a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the accused assaulted and injured him and his friend Jagpal Singh of Bilga near a pond in Patti Mehanna, Billga

IO said a case under sections 323 and 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and 427 (mischief) and 34 (committing crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused.

In another case, the police also booked Tari and Jasan Deep Singh residents of Bhode village for assaulting Resham Singh of the same village, said IO Satpal.
