PHAGWARA: In a significant achievement the district police successfully traced a murder case and arrested four persons under section 103, 109, 115(2), 191(3), 190 BNS on the charges of murdering Hani Kumar @ Nannu(BJP Yuva Morcha Sultanpur Lodhi Block President) resident of Saidan Mohalla Sultanpur Lodhi on the night of November 21.
Senior Superintendent of the Police Kapurthala Vatsala Gupta while talking to journalist on Saturday told that the arrested accused were identified as Kartik@kai, Naveen, Asif (three residents of Saidan Mohalla Sultanpur Lodhi), and Gagan of jawala singh nagar Sultanpur Lodhi. SSP said that six other accused including Karan r/o Hutt Sahib road Sultanpur Lodhi and Gautam r/o saidan mohalla and other unidentified were still at large.
SSP told that the police have recovered four sharped weapons and a swift car number PB-41D-8998 used in the crime.
SSP Gupta said two others Ajay Kumar and Amanpreet Singh sustained serious sharped weapons injuries in the attack and were admitted in civil hospital.
