AMRITSAR: Punjab Intelligence Counter Intelligence achieved a major milestone today when they arrested three persons including a woman and 6 kg of heroin recovered .
Among the arrested persons was Lovepreet Kaur, a college student from Khalsa college Amritsar, a resident of Kotkapura. Police are presenting the accused in court and taking them into remand so that revelations can be made during interrogation.
When police arrested them they recovered 6 kg of heroin from them, police spokesman said. It may be mentioned that the value of 6 kg of heroin seized in the international market is Rs 30 crore. The accused have sent on three days police remand, police said.
