SHAHKOT:The Shahkot police have arrested a Shahkot resident on the charge of extorting money from a resident by threatening him.The investigating officer (IO) Lakhbir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Surindar Kumar a resident of Mohalla Bawaian Shahkot.
Madan Lal a resident of Model Town, Shahkot has complained to the police that the accused duped him by threats by lodging complaints against him in various departments
IO said that a case under section 384 IPC was registered against the accused.
