LOHIAN KHAS : The Lohian Khas police have arrested a scrap dealer and two -members of a thieves’ gang on charges of stealing motors.
The investigating officer (IO) Avtar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sikander son of Guljari local scrap dealer a resident of Lohian Khas and Abhi alias Bola son of Shingara Singh and Sanjay son of Chad Ram residents of huts near a public school Lohian Khas.
IO said that the accused had formed a gang and were indulging in stealing motors from nearby villages and shops of town and were selling these items to scrap dealer and a case under sections 379(theft) and 380(theft in dwelling house) was registered against the accused and about 25 different stolen items were recovered from their possession.
