NURMAHAL:The Nurmahal police have arrested a mother son duo for dowry harassmentThe investigating officer (IO) Mohann Lal said that the accused have been identified as Rajindar Kumar a resident of Rurrka Kalan village under Goraya police station and his mother Rajni .
Surjit Kaur daughter of Satnam Singh a resident of Chuheki village has complained to the police that her marriage was solemnized with Rajindar Kumar in March 2019 and ever since her marriage she was being harassed for dowry and assaulted and thrown out of house .
IO said that a case under sections 406 (breach of trust) and 498-A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused after an inquiry .
